Hello,
Unless I use a spacer/shim I wont be able to fit a Pattie between the top bar and the hive top feeder.
I do have two 8-Frame Imirie Shims. Problem is they have a hole to be used as a top entrance. I'm installing new packages and want to keep just the bottom as an entrance till they build up a bit.
I have an 8 frame hive top feeder that I would like to use as a syrup feeder on one half and the other half place a Bee Pro Pattie in.
Would this be OK to do or should I use the 8-Frame Imirie Shims and somehow block the opening?
I'd slap a piece of duct tape or jam some card board, etc in the hole.
They will probably propolise [sp] over it.
Only 2 tools are needed anymore; Duck tape & WD 40
If it moves and ain't suppose too, Duck tape it !

Every one do your own thing !

I put the patty on, align the upper box, and press down. It makes the patty fit perfectly.
