As I was working my bees today I heard a roar!!! I knew what was about to happen. Oh yea they went to the trees. Tried to shake them out into a bucket but I found out, that don't work well in a cedar. Not a very big swarm but I believe it was the primary swarm. Thought I was on top of them. Both hives from this breeder swarmed, I was a little disappointed, Didn't look crowded to me, they have been slow, but guess I should have supered.

Talked my daughter into dressing out and holding the ladder. She Was a little reluctant.

Hated to see them swarm but guess I kinda got a refund.

You makin fun of my little ol swarm with your avatar ;)!!!
Hey, SC, I tried to get my daughter to help me move a swarm that I hived a little earlier in the day but she wouldn't get near them. She said she just didn't like bugs flying all around her!

All swarms are pretty cool, especially ones that come from your own hives, that you get back.
