Title: new start up hive new equipment and bee package

When setting up a new 10 frame if you dont have any frames with honey to ad to the new hive will feeding be sufficient in sustaining them?

yes keep feeding until they quit taking it

I would only feed until they have some capped stores and there is a flow.

Otherwise they will often backfill the broodnest, misinterpret it as swarming and swarm when they are small and unable to sustain a swarm.

Thanks for the info I am just learning
