Title: Bees are installed (first time)
Post by: jeremy_c on April 21, 2009, 04:57:44 PM
I installed 2 packages of bees yesterday into my two brand new hives. I'm a new bee keeper and many here have made my trip thus far much easier thank you!

Everything went OK. I am sure it was not as well executed as it could have been, but the bees are in, no one was stung, queens were alive, I did drop the first queen into the hive but didn't drop the queen into the shipping package (I made sure of that!). I put up some unedited video for my extended family, maybe some would enjoy watching it, maybe not. It's kind of long (24 minutes). The URL is: http://jeremy.lifewithchrist.org/permalink/47995.html if anyone is interested laughing at me :-)

Thanks for all the help everyone!

Jeremy
