Title: nuc to full - frame order
Post by: tlynn on April 24, 2009, 10:29:46 PM
I have an established 5 frame nuc that needs to move into a full deep.  I have new duraglit frames set up (probably the last foundation I am going to buy) and frames with starter strips.  What order should I set up the 10 framer?  I assume I'll have to give them the foundation, no?

set the nuke frames in the middle together, then place the frames of your choice on the outside of those.

You mean I could use the starter strips on both sides of the nuc frames?

why not? as they need room they will expand sideways to the next frame, then the next then the next.
keep the frames tight together in the hive and it should go well.
