Title: I found a smoker at an antique shop!
Post by: Cockatoo on April 26, 2009, 09:52:18 AM
For $10!  :-D
While in Dahlonega after flying I dropped by an antique shop thinking, I've see beekeeping stuff in there.
So I NEED a smoker anyway. There were 2! The first one was $32. Erk, I can get a new one for that.
And it wasn't even an antique. So I kept browsing and there it was for $10!

Next, I want to find honey pots!  :-D

It won't take long for  a new one to look like that. Congratulations on your find.

Exactly. I've seen quite a few "antique" smokers on ebay that are just "used" smokers!

My wife enjoys collecting honey pots. She's found several very interesting ones.

Got pix?? I'd like to see them, as my wife is beginning to get interested in honey-related arts & crafts.

In the Orient the women carry honey pots in buckets hung from a yoke over their shoulders to the rice patties every morning.....or are we talking different kinds of honey pots?
