Yes, the queen has a stinger, it is not barbed so can be used over and over again, but only against other queens. She won't sting you unless, maybe... she thinks you are a queen!

If you go into a hive and catch the queen and mark her, then immediately go into another hive and catch it's queen to mark her, she might possibly sting you as you have pheremone from the first queen on your hand and fingers so this queen might possibly think your fingers are a queen. maybe?
