I read somewhere that a tyvek suit is sting proof, anyone have experience using one? The only thing I've used tyvek for is building wrap in my construction job. Doesn't seem like it would stop a stinger.
it is a good bee suit but get hot because no wind can pass through it, aw and you can be stung using one, mostly around the arms when you bend them  other than that they do find but are hot like crazy
I haven't used one, but I have no doubt that "hot like crazy" is the word. yikes!
I have used them when spraying paint and you will sweat buckets unless you're in Seattle today. Really like wearing plastic rain jacket and pants.
I got two of these suit and they are hot

I took several stings to my tyvek suit today... most of the stingers went in sideways, none of them got me. I usually just wear it so I don't have to worry about wearing dark colored clothes... but I was glad I had it on today since my girls were sure in a pissy mood today. I guess it's because it's been so rainy lately and they are much lower than I think they should be on stores.
I have a tyvek suit that I use when the girls are cranky and I must get into the hives. As others have said, it's very hot, but it provides a good amount of protection.
