Title: mistaken pulling supers too early ?
Post by: malabarchillin on May 17, 2009, 02:52:58 PM
I made a mistake and pulled some full supers off before capping. I was in a hurry to move some hives.
I let them sit inside for a couple of weeks when I got a better look at them being mostly uncapped.
I put them back outside hoping that they would be robbed back. I had hoped that if there were a unseen
mold problem that the bees would take care of it while robbing them back. They have been outside unprotected by the bees for about 1.5 weeks. They are very close to my hives. There are a few bees on them, but not many. Is this honey still ok to reinstall back onto my hives to be capped ?
Thanks

yea, put them back on a strong hive, they'll finish the job.
