if you move a super from one hive to another will they finish capping it?

Yes, but if there are bees from the old hive on it when you put it on the new hive it could be like the Sharks and the Jets in a back alley...

well the hive was a deep brood box and a medium super that was the way i wintered it because i ran out of boxes. I wanted it two deep brood boxes so i added a deep with new foundation. not long after I put on the new deep they swarmed. I want them to draw the new deep brood box out and fill it so I moved the super to a stronger hive so they could finish it now because I like the early honey better.
