Title: Do they remove the queen cell?
Post by: dgc1961 on May 21, 2009, 01:10:49 PM
My hive had gone queenless, so I added a frame of eggs.  They ended up making several queen cells.  It has now been 26 days since adding the frame of eggs.  I went in to take a look at the frame with the queen cells.

The frame was like looking at a different one.  There was only 1 queen celll and it was open on the end, all of the other queen cells are gone.  At first I wasn't sure if I had the right frame, but then I knew that I did.

Do they remove the queen cells after the queens emerge?
