Is this normal for a rainy day? We are having a lot of rain lately. There seem to be a lot of bees at the entrance. This is a hive from a nuc. Thanks

Mine do the same thing.  They're just waiting for the weather to clear.

You may want an entrance reducer  next to the boardman feeder. leaving it open is an invitation to get robbing started.

If you have multiple hives, toss the boardman and get a hive top feeder.  Lessens the chances of robbing.  When I was using the boardman, it triggered robbing every single time.

You could just cut a piece of 3/4 in x 3/4 in stock and cut it to length to leave a small entrance if you don't have a standard entrance reducer that typically comes with the bottom board.

I didn't think of ferals, Thanks buzzbee. I will get a piece of wood for entrance. Thanks
