Title: BEE FUNNELS(SHAKER BOXES)
Post by: rphillips1 on May 27, 2009, 12:13:29 PM
Does anyone know where I can get a bee funnel(shaker box) for package bee production,or does anyone have one for sale? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I'm using one of the "funnels" that are used around the pole for a bird feeder/bird house.   I found one that was made for a 4x4 post, removed the mounting tabs, and made a short extension to reduce it down to the size used in most package cages.  Works like a charm!

Find an old milk can filter holder, they're just about the right size.
