Title: Issues with plastic frames
Post by: John Schwartz on May 28, 2009, 08:53:11 PM
Hi gang -- using all plastic frames this year and noticing they're a bit narrow compared to the wood frames and giving me more troubles with cross-comb, comb build-up between hive bodies etc. Any tips from those who've been using them on how to prevent? Is it simply paying more attention to frame spacing? I can almost fit 11 of these plastic frames into the hive body whereas wood frames were pretty much a tight fit.

Blessings,
John Schwartz
