I just got home from work! I went to my hive for a quick look. I removed the mouse guard because the nucs that I installed a month ago. The two hives have a good population count now so I removed them. When I removed the guards I saw two or three dead veroa mites on the landing boards. but on one hive my heart almost stoped! I saw one small live larvey slithering on the board....... MOTH... one explanion.. this one no doubt fell off and I am afraid the frames above are infected. I am going to do a full inspection now.
God...... the verroa, the rain, the weather, and now the MOTH.. Give me a break.. a little break is all I ask.

OH my I know how you feel. Let us know what is up after the inspection, perhaps it is not as bad as you think.
They could be doing a good job of grooming and housecleaning. I wish this is the case for you.
Let us know
Annette
Some people have all the luck :-D but sounds like you got the wrong type. Please keep us posted on what you find.
Inspected the hive at 5:00 PM. Broods capped and open all over. nice solid patterns. no sight of any moth larvae in medium supper. No sign or any moth larvae in deep. I guess this larvae must have came from the grasss... went online and googled Moth larvae pictures and compared to the one in my hand.. different. I guess I am clean.. Thank God !
