Title: bees drawing comb
Post by: troutstalker2 on June 02, 2009, 09:36:01 PM

If you have to say cut out a piece out a drawn out comb, will the bees fill it in? I know they will draw comb down, but will they draw up to fill it in?

I'm not sure I understand you.  Bees don't draw comb upward - they will start at the top of whatever gap you created and fill it in top to bottom.

They will draw the comb whichever way they want to...

Typically top down, but they'll go up too. or start in the middle....
