I checked this trap again today and they are still hanging under it so this evening I am going to shake them into a deep box and move them to my farm.  I'm thinking the queen is in the cluster and not in the trap.   Alot of scouts are coming and going so I hope they are still there after work

I shook this swarm into a deep yesterday afternoon.  What I found suprised me.  I had some wax moth in the trap and they were cleaning it up.  There weren't many bee's inside the trap and no queen.   They were building comb on the bottom of the trap.   Not sure what they had planned.  Hope I have the queen.   Time will tell.

Nice JP
It looks like they were planning on staying.   Last winter I found the remains of a open air nest.  What are they thinking?  Just living for the day without planning ahead for our cold winter
