Title: Oxalic acid vaporizers
Post by: alfred on June 04, 2009, 02:36:33 PM
I know that many have used oxalic acid vaporizers. I think I remember Cindi that you said that you had purchased one. Well I have been using my own gizmo consisting of some pipes and a blowtorch and it works ok but is not going to be very efficient for treating the many multiple hives it looks like I am getting into. So I am looking to find out what people think of their vaporizers.

Firstly did they work.
Second how easy were they to use.
Does any one know are there different types or brands I seem to only be able to find the one at   http://de.geocities.com/vaporizerklaus/vaporizer.htm

thanks for any input
Alfred

Heilyser Vaporizer
Works very well in about 60 second.   Cost is pennies per treatment.  The only thing that I could possibly see wrong is its fragile.  I can be alittle rough on my equipment and have to consciously handle it delicately.   It really knocks the hell out of the mites.  I have 50ft of lamp cord on a spool with small battery clamps on the end.  In most places it will reach my truck battery but when it wont I carry a small motorcycle battery in the truck.
