Title: Tronado of bee yesterday, swarmed today
Post by: DM on June 04, 2009, 08:28:42 PM
After the tornado of bee's yesterday they swarmed around noon. I used my new bushkill bee vac I made this winter. It worked great and now the girls are in a new deep and have stayed so far. Should I feed or just let them go to work on what they bring in? All the frames are new with wired foundation?

Yea I had one do the same ---- was hoping they were orienting --- but as I said on your other post, never seen that many while orienting.

I was lucky enough for that swarm to have a clipped queen. They flew out the first day and came back. The second day I found her in a swarm of bees lying on the ground.
