I captured my first swarm on 6/11 and this morning I saw several loads of pollen going into the hive. Does this mean there is comb, i.e. a place to store it? I'm just trying to learn how quickly/slowly they are working :-)

The swarms that you catch generally start building comb very quickly. They could easily have a few frames filled out already. I'd say that if they are bringing in a lot of pollen then they must have a place to store it.
Bees begin drawing comb immediately in their new home. The fact they are bringing in pollen indicates that they are beginning to develop the brood chamber as it takes pollen and honey to feed the larvae.
