Title: 38 lbs. of Honey in sealed bucket.
Post by: mherndon on June 16, 2009, 09:48:22 PM
I have 38 lbs. of honey in a bucket that I extracted Friday the 12th.  I don't have my bottles in yet but wondered where the best place is to store it.  I am going on vacation this weekend and won't have time to bottle.  I have it in my garage for now on an insulated mat.

I would leave it there. It will be fine until you can bottle, next week, next month, or next year.

Just make sure the out side of the bucket has no stray honey on it. :)doak

I extracted yesyerday. Only got a third of what I got last year --- six supers this year and some only partial filled or not as thick. It is in three four gallon buckets in my storage room outside and that is where it will stay until I need it :-D
