My daughter in a massage therapist and has informed my to save her propolis. She has indicated that it is quite expensive and is used in that profession. Guess I'll have to ask for what?

Eastern Europeans and Russians swear by the stuff to fight off colds and flu.  Most people make tinctures with grain alcohol, but there are all sorts of home remedies.

Research has shown it can kill or prevent many viruses from entering cells.  Preliminary studies have shown it can even prevent the HIV virus from entering cells in a petri dish.

I hunt and fish with a Ukrainian family and they use it for cuts and burns and anything else that may be wrong health wise but mostly on cuts. They are always after my propolis and since my bees are on there farm I gladly give up some of it every year along with some honey. In turn they give me eggs, fresh smoked sausage, garden vegetables and most importantly there friendship. Stratavarious used it as a finish on the violins he made and look what there worth today. Even today some high end wood furniture is finished with a propolis mixture. There are other uses just look on the net. If some one was offering to give me that much propolis. My vehicle would already be there and loaded. I have also heard some health food stores might buy it.

The problem is I don't know if its real clean or not.The old bee keepers are gone and someone is demolishing the place. They had already scraped the extractors and boilers and everything metal.

Yeah thats a tough call, is there anyway you can track down the old beeks to see what the deal is on that propolis?
I have no idea what the quality level is suppose to be or how you test for it but it sounds like you have a small goldmine there considering what the prices go for on propolis.
Is this like chunks of propolis or did they already process it somehow.
I would think it would be fine if it wasn't processed.
You could make alot of money off of it if you can sell it all and you aren't paying too much for it yourself.
I have read some ads for places looking to buy propolis in the bee magazines I think one is called beehive botanicals or something like that.
Maybe you can check into one of these places and see how much they would pay for it per pound and tell them how much you have and what they would be willing to pay, if they can even take that much at once and then weigh your options.
