Title: Any HOOSIERS interested in a cutout??? Not far off of I69???
Post by: joker1656 on June 24, 2009, 02:14:55 PM
Lady called me today from Hartford city.  Too far from Fort Wayne to get to quickly.  I am kind of swamped right now, but she really wanted the bees taken care of.  Does anyone live close/know of a beek that lives close???  She said the bees had been there for 3+ yrs.  Not sure of the details, but if you get ahold of me, I will pass on what I do have.

THANKS!!!

When you calls for swarms/cut outs that are too far or that you're too busy for, you can always contact Kathleen Prough, our State Apiary inspector. She knows beeks all over the state and can often find someone. (She's planning a county-by-county website that she can link to her DNR site so that people can more easily find beeks for swarms & cut outs.)
