ooh, I am jealous. I read that they just revamped the place.
Go over and visit, you could save yourself a fortune on shipping.

Correction for accuracy:  Go in and buy as much as your spouse will tolerate.  Have your prayer pads handy in your hip pocket.   For those Please, Oh Please moments.

Brian D. Bray is absolutely right when it come to your spouse.  The last time I went down to Brushy Mountain I was wanting some side bars for my frames that were to big for my supers.  I had to practically beg for them but I got them.  Brushy Mountain is a store that has every thing that you would need.  I have been two time. :-D

And this year they are giving every customer a free hive tool with a shipping order if you know to ask for one (one per customer)

Its also a nice drive to the store, alittle hard to find but not too bad. Nice folks to deal with. I live about 40 minutes away.

You just have to ask for one when you place your order.
I ordered online and used the code FHT in the order form or you can request one in the message secton of the order form.
You have to order something to get it and the offer is good until the end of 2009.

Woodchopper and I have been there twice, it's a nice take, they do have a store front, and the drive up there is lovely!  Yes, you save on shipping charges, but you have to pay North Carolina tax, I forget what it was, but it was higher than the 5% MA tax we pay around here on most things.

Miller Bee Supply is also in that area. It would be a shame for you to be so close and not to at least check it out. One of the times Reinbeau and I went to Brushy Mt. we went to Miller and was pleasantly surprised with some of their prices. Both places have "In Store" specials which IMNSHO are the only reason to stray from the Free Shipping Special Brushy Mt. holds every December.  :-D :-D

Went to Brushy MNT Bee Farm but it's undergoing a move to new building. Didn't get to see much.

Oh darn,  I just placed an internet order and forgot to ask for one.  But then again, how do you ask online?

OK now I see what to do.  I will call them and see if I can still take advantage of this.
