Hello everyone, I'm new to beekeeping, purchased one hive body this spring with queen installed and they are doing fine, a little slow to start do to the cold wet weather. I enjoy woodworking so I build all of my own hive bodies and supers. I've caught two swarms this season and went out and rescued a colony from a tree the road commission was going to cut down to widen the road, that was INTERESTING(learned a lot that day) looking forward to visiting with all of you.

Where in Michigan are you
Steven,
Welcome to the group. I too generate all the wood shavings and sawdust that my garage can hold. Routing those finger joints sure does make a mess. Hope that you enjoy your online experience here.
