Check my hives today and realized that one of them is ready for a honey super - just in time for the late late July blooms here.
When I went to get the super and frames ready, I realized that, when I pulled the super last year, there were a couple frames that were partially filled with uncapped honey. I apparently didn't figure out what to do with them last year. : )
So the uncapped honey in the frames is almost a year old.
Question is:
Should I just put the frames with uncapped honey back in?
The honey looks ok - no mold, not crystalized. Is there something else I should look for?

I would give the bees the uncapped honey frames. I don't see any problems with it, but I am curious how you stored the frames.
I usually freeze any frames with uncapped honey and thaw them out just before using them.
I don't have a freezer big enough to fit frames in. : )
I just kept the frames in a body, covered on the bottom and covered on the top. (So that spiders, etc... couldn't get in) Stored it in my basement workshop for the year.
There's some was bloom on the foundation, but the honey looks great.
It sounds good, just feed it to them
