Question....... I have a little honey in super but not capped will I have a full super to harvest this year?
Yes more than likely Just keep checking. Good luck
The flow is over here, south of you, and also in northern Va., north of you. I doubt you will be getting much more honey where you are.
If it is your only super, the bees likely need it to live over the winter.
Well - not so fast. I have three frames in one super that are full but not yet capped. This is the very light, yellow honey that I get every year. July and August bring a darker honey - and more of it. So, hang in there - we may get more.
I will keep checking and let them keep working. :bee:
Do you grow any cotton or soybeans up your way? If yes, move your hive nearby and a strong hive can fill a super in no time.
Good Luck,
Steve
Hope you get a good honey crop!
