Title: Wild Carrot? Queen Annes Lace?
Post by: harvey on July 24, 2009, 12:17:13 PM
We have a lot of what I was raised to call wild carrot,  I think it is the same that I have heard called Queen Ann's Lace?   Is this good for the bee's?  Does it make good honey?   I have heard that Goldenrod is not good flavored?   Our golden rod won't be around for another month or so.

Queen Anne's Lace is the wild carrot, I don't know about making honey but I have heard that if you put queen ann's lace on top of the inner cover it keeps ants out of the hives.
