Title: Shed Floor, Doll House/Bird House---August 7, 2009
Post by: JP on August 08, 2009, 12:54:02 AM
Lots of bees in the shed floor, pics show two boxes but there is a third box full of bees. Very gentle bees, very nice customers.

Right after this one I ran across town a little ways and picked up a swarm that moved into a doll house, they say bird house, looks like a doll house to me.

Here's the pics: http://picasaweb.google.com/pyxicephalus/August72009#

So did you just take the bird/doll house back home with you to cut out later? That looks like it will be reallllyyy fun to do.

That sure was a nice big fat juicey looking queen you found in the first cut out.

Yep, the doll house is now about 8' from the speaker box bees. Will most likely transfer them from the doll house later today.

Those are pecan shells that some how wound up in the hive. A rat most likely brought them under the shed at some point.
