Title: Wax from a small hive beetle trap
Post by: Hooverbees on August 14, 2009, 11:47:34 AM
I have the small hive beetle trap that is filled with vegetable oil and is incorporated within the bottom board. There appears to be some wax products that eventually fall into this trap in addition to the beetles. My question is, has anyone ever tried to harvest this, or is what I'm seeing just waste? Is it worth the time / effort to process this?

I wouldn't think it to be worth the effort. Mostly waste from cell cleaning etc.
