Title: is queen in danger
Post by: bill on April 06, 2005, 12:38:02 PM
hey beepeople I have another dumb question. If you store a queen in a cage, and there is, with or without your knowledge a queen, can the queen kill the new queen through the screen.

It is possible, yes.  But since they can't get full access a "proper" fight it is not probable.

Often bees pull queens antenna away, make it rigid, violate legs or it's nails.  If bees are tightly in the screen, it means that queen is in the dander.
