Hello,
Just a quick question please. I have one hive 3 or 4 km down the road. The neighbours will be burning off soon so I have to move it back here. What do you think is the optimum time to leave it here for before I return it to its usual home?
Thanks, Lone
I read some where it should be two week's. Now where you been hiding :-D
Thanks Irwin, that is very helpful. Now, I've mainly been here, although I was away for a couple of weeks to go to a bluegrass festival.
How about yourself...are your pet bees beehiving themselves?
Lone
Yes they are :-D I just wish they would make me some honey. I love bluegrass music. I'm working for a commercial bee keeper now he has about 4.000 hive's.
Wow 4,000 hives! Very curious about how such an operation works.
How spread out are they, how many out yards?
How many folks like you are employed.
oh so many questions...
Maybe if you get a chance you could give us all a rundown on how a big operation does things.

He has hive's in Washington Oregon Idaho and California. I really don't know how thing's are done because I just started working for him. He has six people working for him in Oregon don't know about the other state's. Redbee will be able to tell you about how a big time bee keeper dose thing he has allot of hive's do a member search and look him up.
