Title: Illinois beeks
Post by: wayne on September 01, 2009, 02:08:13 PM
 Too far for me.

Dear Sirs,                        Aug.21st., 2009
Yesterday I noticed a swarm of bees that has taken up residency on the south side of our brick home.  I'm not sure of what kind, but my husband feels that they are honey bees.  Is there anyway that we can remove them without being stung.  We live across the street from a middle school and children walk by daily.  Is there anyone we can contact.  We live in Matteson, Il.  A suburb of Chicago.
    Please let me know.
                       Thank you
                           R. Tanis

Are ther thousands of bees visible? Are they building a grey paper nest? Can you post a close up of one or of the hive?
