A lady called me yesterday and her son has MS and he is interested in trying bee venom therapy. I told them that I couldn't do it since I'm not trained and that there could be potential risks involved but that I'd check on some of the bee keeping websites. Do any of you know someone in West Texas, Oklahoma or Eastern New Mexico who might be able to visit with this lady and/or apply apitheripy to her son? Let me know and I'll pass on the info.
thanks,
Charlie

I would also like to recommend Dr. Amber Rose's book Bee in Balance. (http://foreveramberrose.com/)
Dr. Rose is a licensed acupuncturist and studied apitherapy under Charlie Mraz. She has combined the acupuncture points with bee sting therapy to help many of people with a wide range of illnesses. My wife and I just attended a seminar of Dr Rose's today where she instructed us about her methods and how to administer the stings ourselves. My wife got her first 2 stings today and we will continue the protocol at home 2x a week.
Dr. Rose will also be my special guest on the Wildlife Pro Network Beekeeping Podcast on March 11, 2010. I encourage anyone with the slightest inclination of wanting to try bee venom therapy to attend the podcast with Dr. Rose.

Dr. Rose is a lovely, caring person who has the heart and soul of a healer. She has also done extensive bee venom therapy with horses and dogs.
