the noaa. has a good short article on the current el nino and the possible precip and temps for the u.s.

it is interesting. i have read it. even though they are not so hot on the hurricane predictions, they are pretty good at explaining what we might expect from different conditions.
I think I'll play it by ear and listen to my bees. I haven't seen any weather forcasts close yet for that far away. I used to believe in the Farmer's Almanac too.
I still do beleive in the Farmers Almanac. They at least have an over 60% correct rate. Better than most TV weather people can say.
