Title: Storing frames with uncapped honey
Post by: norton4325 on October 21, 2009, 07:52:25 PM
Hi everyone.  I took off some extra frames of uncapped honey and froze them in preparation for storing them over the winter.  Now that I have them out of the freezer, they are dripping on the counter. I am afraid to put them in a bag and store them for fear that it will attract pests.  Should I put them back on the hive and see if the bees do anything with them?
Thanks for any suggestions.  Some of the frames have capped honey on one side and uncapped on the other.  I am considering uncapping the capped honey and seeing if that stimulates them to move the food into the deep.
