Title: Can someone identify this photo?
Post by: Dvash on October 22, 2009, 07:01:42 AM
When I went to a split this morning, I found a few frames with cells like the ones in this photo.

Can someone identify it? Are these supercedure cells?

Thanks,

Thanks TWT. Do they put them on the bottoms of the frames because the regular cells are too small for drones?

Sort-of.  We give them foundation with regular-cell size imprints so that they draw out that size.  Then they will fill in any space they can with drone size comb.    If you give them an empty frame they will draw out 80% of it as drone comb.
