gday every1, my name is nic and i come from maryborough qld, in oz, starting to get pretty hot over here haha, still mid spring tho lol, got 2 hives and they look pretty strong but they aint exactly gathering too much compared to my other friend who has a hive,, but oh well, location, location, im 23 and i work for telstra, big phone company and its boring but pays the bills, love fishing, camping, chicks, and bees, so yer, thats me :P

as per our PMs I am probably at the same level of experience as you so a sharing of our knowledge and mistakes might save us both a lot of time and effort.
I would definitely get some SHB (Small Hive Beetle) traps into your hive ASAP or you risk loosing one or both of them which would really suck! Our (me & a mate's) 4 hives are now down to 2 hives & 1 nuc after a SHB invasion :-x so I think for the rest of this season that hive will just be bulding back up, not sure if I will get anymore honey from it this season?
