Title: Top Bar Hive
Post by: ivashka on November 11, 2009, 04:12:16 AM
Is it okay to move Top Bar Hive in this time of year when it's a little over an hour of drive.  Another thing is, weather in Colorado can fluctuate between 45-75 degrees every other day.If so,what's the best way to do it? :)

Anytime you might break some comb off if you get a bumpy road.  Comb is more brittle in the cold and too soft in the heat.  70 F would be hard to beat for moving a hive with natural unsupported comb.
