Man they look good Irwin. I missed this post earlier. Dungeness crabs are good eating. I live on the eastern part of the US where we have the Maryland Blue Crabs. I never saw the stone crab like you had. I was going to tease you and say that one come pre cooked because of it being red. Have you ever put a live crab to sleep ? I'm not talking about throwing him into a pot of boiling liquid either. :-D
The crabs look great! The pics are good too!

OK Irwin. You have got try this ! Allot of people will not believe it until you show them it works. Lay a crab on the palm of your hand, on its back. Rub your finger in a circular motion on it's bottom side around the apron. It will go to sleep and I have put them on the ground this way and they just lay there until you roll them over.
Seeing your case of crabs got me thinking of the few things I miss being in the midwest. I came up here from Pensacola Fl. and we used to be able to walk out at tiger point tie a cooler to our waist and with dip nets we could harvest dozens and dozens of blue crabs in no time at all, gig a couple flounders, then stop by the fish market and get a few bags of oysters. Stir in a few friends and a few beers and....Well there just wasn't a better way to spend a saturday afternoon. I would travel a good long way for a good case of crabs. John
