is there a queen cell protector made to protect queen cells while there on drawn comb or do I make to invent somthing, example: if I have a queenless hive and want all the cells to make it (for spare queens) what could I use to protect these cells from getting destroyed by the first queen that hatches?
TWT did you ever find anything about this, i would like to know because i am thinking about doing the same thing?
You could probably cut one of the regular plastic queen protectors in half and attach the open part over the comb.

Why can't you just cut them off the frame and install them into nucs before they emerge?
here is what I use, they have some, even if you use a cut out cell put it in and it sits between the frames, very nice tool...
