Are Dadant's supers the same outside dimensions as Brushy & Mann Lake? I have deeps from both (B & ML) and it seems like I read something that they used a thicker wood than Dadant did?
:imsorry: :stayontopic:

I talked to Dadant, they are the same size: 19 7/8 x 16 1/4.

For future reference.

I think the thicker wood is found in betterbees boxes. i believe it is 7/8 inch as opposed to 3/4, You can tell the difference lifting the box. they have seemed sturdier over the years.

I wish Dadant- Paris, TX would offer free shipping, being that they are about 200 miles from here? I guess I will wait until I get some time to drive down there to save on shipping! I wish everyone a fantastic CHRISTmas!

Was going to order some deeps (commercial quality), the the minimum was 11. The cheap ones (forgot what they call 'em), the minimum was 100!  I guess they are aimed at the professional's and not the backyard hobbyist.

The commercial deeps are pretty rough, at least the joints are, compared to the Brushy & Mann Lake select. Just an observation.
