Title: Cluster movement in a KTBH
Post by: gardeningfireman on December 28, 2009, 10:21:52 PM
This is probably a dumb question, but how does a wintering cluster move about in a TBH without totally breaking up the cluster? In a Langstroth, the whole group can just move up, but in a TBH, how do they move as a unit?

Sideways.  They actually can move around the ends and the bottom more easily as there is no wood to make a barrier, just comb...
