OH that was so wonderful. I really enjoyed that video. I do wonder what happens when you turn the comb on the side like that when they were in a different direction to begin with. Do the bees just start to fix it all?

Hey, he posted and update. Check out that happened to the duck box hive.  How in hades could the bees prevent robbing on this?  Honey stored outside the hive?

From the vigorous, centralized activity and the torn open cells I'd say that the hive in the update video is in the process of being robbed.  Tearing off that comb would only exacerbate the issue.  Cool videos, not sure why he left that hive in the box that it obviously outgrew.  Is that the same duck box that he pulled the bees out of in the original video?  If it is, it's now a swarm trap whether he knows it or not.

No, the video of duck box removal is a completely different person than the other 3.  The last 3 is from a non -beekeeper nature buff.

And yes, I think it is being robbed.
