Title: Hello from southern Vermont
Post by: Denny on January 22, 2010, 04:55:00 PM
Howdy folks...... I bumped into this forum when doing searches for bee related info on the web.

I've been keeping bees off & on since the 1970s when I lived in Mass.
My approach with it these days is not to treat with chemicals, and strive to help my bees maintain as pure an environment for themselves as possible. I enjoy exchanging ideas and sharing information about the bees and am always looking for better ways to keep them & myself more stress-free.

I really enjoy making increase with nucs, and talking with others about the various methods of overwintering them.  I've kept Russians, Italian, and Carniolan bees and have come to like working with the Carniolans best.

Look forward to sharing about bees with you all,...Denny  :-D

Greetings Denny,

I was wondering when you would join us on this site. The girls are doing well and if you are selling Nucs this spring I just may have to take a road trip....I love Vt. I'll send an e-mail as spring approaches......

Hi there John,.....good to bump into you, and thanks for your reply. Glad to hear your girls are well, and sure, I'm selling small cell nucs again. There's been alot of interest and have been getting return business and referrals. Give a holler when you want,...I'll start feeding pollen patties in mid feb.  :)
