I'm sure you'll find this forum to be a good place to learn more about bees & beekeeping. There are some excellent tutorials on the main Beemaster page - be sure to check them out.
Also, please post your location in your profile. Much of beekeeping is location-specific, so we'll be able to answer your questions more accurately if we know where you are.
Hello and welcome! We've all asked our share of dumb questions...without them we wouldn't be extremely intelligent (not to mention good looking) forum members eagerly waiting to answer yours :-D.
And don't forget to use the search feature, the human interaction with members is awesome, but if you just want to spend some time reading or need an answer quickly, the question and answer is probably out there somewhere (although often in a form not necessarily recognizable!)
Oh, and btw, please update your location on your profile...beekeeping is very regional and answers often depend on location.
