Title: Question about extracting a honey
Post by: jer0n on March 08, 2010, 02:03:54 PM
In Russia the most of beekeepers extract honey in 5-7 days after bees seal honeycombs. I'd like to know when the american beekeepers  extract a honey?
How do you think, how many days a honey should be in sealed honeycombs before it will be ready?

Thanks

jerOn, welcome to Beemaster!  It helps to know where you're located, if you go into your profile and put in a location (general location is fine) you'll be helped on other questions you may post that are more location specific.

Honey can be harvested as soon as it is capped, the bees know when it's at the right percent (18%) moisture.
