Title: vandals
Post by: danno on March 16, 2010, 04:51:49 PM
Found one of my yards vadalized yesterday.  This is a yard that has a queen that produced yard guards all last year.  I learned very quickly to inspect them last fully suited with smoker lit and always had to drive away fully suited up with the windows open.  I never got around to requeening them last year and planned to do so this spring if they made it through the winter.  Well they did.  They were set alittle ways away from all the rest so apparently looked like the easiest mark for the vandals.  What I found was a long stick laying on the ground in front of this hive with the top knocked off.  I can only imagine how they felt with a cloud chasing them back across the field past the no trespassing signs

Yard guards.  I never heard that before, but good name for it.  I don't know what is wrong with people that they do things like that.  Probably kids though.
