First set of pics is a removal I did in a wall void. That evening, late evening I knew the queen had enetered the soffit area.
I went back arounf 4am and found a small cluster of maybe 100 bees but no queen.
Went back around 2:30 and found her in the cluster you see pictured at the top corner of the window.
If you give them time, they usually come back out.
2nd set is a colony I removed last night. Bees were mean and in swarm mode. Caught 4 queens. When it was all said and done I had to remove sheet rock and cut the blackboard in a 6' across area as there was plenty comb attached to the brick.
Not a fun removal, got home close to midnite.
3rd set is one I did this morning in a mausoleum. This is the second time I've removed bees from a crypt.
The bees were spooky. ;)

Wow, that's dedication.
Real tales from da crypt :-D
I still say the dead guy was a fellow beekeeper!! ;)
I must say, only thing i've done in that regard is using my great grandparent's tombs as a base for my initial hives.Needed a concrete base since i've read that SMB pupate in soil- ;) Spoke with them about using their resting place and asked them for a lil guidance and they didn't utter a word so I definately took that silence as an act of agreement and kicked off my plans.
That's really cool you used your grandparent's tombs as a base. Every time you work them I'm sure you can't help but think of the wonderful times you spent with your grandfolks.

You certainly get some interesting calls.
Ok, ok. Have you done one in a snow storm while listening to a midget mariachi band and hopping on one foot? :-D
