Title: New to bee keeping
Post by: Carevin on April 07, 2010, 11:59:20 AM
So I've been reading for quite a while over the winter months.  I didn't have a chance to get any bees last year as it was far too late into season.  However I plan on giving this a go this year.  I see at least one place millerbeesupplies is going to be selling bees which is in Baltimore where I can pick up bees in about 2 weeks.

Can someone comment on this and let me know any problems I might find with this product.

I was thinking about getting the beginners kit.  Are there any issues with this or anything else I should know before getting the kit, painting and getting some bees?  I have lots of trees and flowers blooming now around my 5 acres so looks like now is a good time.

You need to call Millerbees ASAP to make sure they still have packages. When I ordered mine 2 weeks ago they only had 14 left for the April 17 delivery and my bee club told our beginer's class about it . Don't know if they will order more after that.
